Bamford further expressed confidence in Liberty GTS’s strategic positioning to expand its tax offerings, with Harry Ballan’s deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, tax controversies, and litigation. Ballan’s appointment is expected to drive the division’s growth and strengthen its foothold in the market.
Scott Pegram, Head of Americas at Liberty GTS, emphasised the dynamic nature of this sector and the critical role Ballan’s appointment plays in enhancing the tax liability insurance practice across the region. Pegram highlighted Ballan’s exceptional technical knowledge and industry connections, which will enable Liberty GTS to identify and address new areas of insurable risks. This, in turn, will empower clients to proactively address unforeseen challenges, ultimately bolstering their profitability and liquidity.
