DWF, a global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced the addition of Andrew Symons to the London Global Risks team as insurance partner.
Well established in the re/insurance markets, Symons has over 30 years’ experience advising clients on cutting edge disputes and case law in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration.
Primarily focusing on financial lines insurance claims and reinsurance, Symons’ work includes representing insurers in professional indemnity and management liability, and more specialist areas of warranty and indemnity and cyber; and reinsurance, advising clients on coverage and disputes.

His experience will be an enormous asset as we continue to grow our Global Risks team and international insurance and reinsurance practice, which has seen several new hires, particularly in Dubai, already this year.”
He joins DWF following 11 years at DLA Piper. He was most recently a Partner at DLA Piper UK, where he specialised in financial lines claims (PI, management liability, W&I and cyber), and all classes of reinsurance.
Prior to this, he spent over 17 years with international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna.
